Education:

Earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Shawnee State University  and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Ohio University, graduating with cum laude.





Work Experience:

Michael Bennett has been Treasurer since November 1, 1991. Prior to coming to Valley, he was the Assistant Treasurer at Northwest Local Schools for six years.

Mike is a graduate of Portsmouth East High School. He is a member of the Scioto County Association of Treasurers and the Ohio Association of School Business Officials.



About:

Mike and his wife, Rebecca, live in Portsmouth. They have two children, Sarah, who attends Ohio State University and Matthew, who currently attends Valley High School.
